The Public Have Donated An Incredible Amount To The Berkeley Victims

seank

The families affected by the Berkeley tragedy have seen massive support from the public who, through multiple efforts to fundraise for the cause, have managed to raise donations up to €380,000.

The funds, which were primarily raised by Irish Immigration Pastoral Center, will go towards helping the families who were injured by the Berkeley tragedy, which took the lives of six students and left seven others seriously injured.

A benefit concert will also take place next Thursday at The Academy in order to raise funds for the those affected, with bands like Jape, Vann Music, Heroes in Hiding, Dublin Gospel Choir and Knights of Leon performing.
