There's a trend for unusual ice cream flavours at the moment (like kale-flavour), and the fashion continues with this team-up between Glastry Farm Ice Cream and the Teeling Whiskey Company to make an Irish whiskey and toffee flavoured ice cream.
After a nine month collaborative process between the two brands, the finished product is finally ready to be launched, and is currently available at Teeling’s distillery. The new treat combines vanilla and toffee with the taste of Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey for a unique taste.
Will Taylor, the founder and managing director of Northern Irish luxury ice cream company told Checkout Magazine:
The new Teeling Irish Whiskey Ice Cream carries forward our longstanding experience in creating unique and delicious flavours for both foodservice and retail markets. Working with Teeling Irish Whiskey is a tremendous boost for the business.
The alcohol-flavoured dessert is expected to become available in stores in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in the coming months.
Glastry’s Teeling Irish Whiskey Ice Cream is currently on sale exclusively from Teeling’s Dublin distillery for €2 per 120 ml tubs, which you can find at 3-17 Newmarket, Dublin 8.
So what do you think, is this a winning combination?
