Here at Lovin Dublin, we’re always on the hunt for little nuggets of art and culture from around the world that we’d love to see introduced to our city.
But in this case, we’ve located something that we actively want to keep as far away from us as possible.
In fact, consider this a public safety announcement. Kingsley – the all-too-benign name given to the newly unveiled Partick Thistle mascot – is out there in the real world, and it’s quite possibly coming for us.

Is it a thistle? Is it a sun? Is it Lisa Simpson at the end of a particularly gruelling Treehouse of Horror episode?
We’re not sure. All we know right now is that our sleep will never be peaceful again.
Oh, and just in case you weren’t already terrified enough by the creation – designed by Turner Prize winner David Shrigley – then here’s a video of it moving. Sideways. Like a crab.
Shudder.
