All over the world, buildings are turning green to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, from the Opera House in Sydney to the Pyramids in Egypt.
The whole world wants to get in on the party – but one particularly Irish city that’s been doing its own stunt is Chicago, in the heart of the US Midwest.
For years now they’ve been turning their river green, and this timelapse shows the process happening over the last couple of days – better again, all the dye is plant-based and causes no harm to the river life. What a wonderful display of Irish pride and yet another great addition to this great day.
