The Dublin Pub Of The Year Has Just Been Announced

The Dublin Pub of the Year has been revealed at the Irish Hospitality Awards 2019.

The ceremony which took place at the Crowne Plaza in Dublin this week was hosted by best-selling author Andrea Hayes and honoured establishments in 28 different categories across various Irish regions.

The Gravediggers in Glasnevin was awarded the prestigious title of Pub/Inn of the Year Dublin so make sure to add this iconic spot to your weekend bucket list.

Meanwhile, Kavanagh’s in Naas was crowned the Pub/Inn of the Year Overall, and Guiry’s Bar in Foxford was named Best Bar.

The winners are initially chosen by members of the public before being judged by an independent panel, and ‘are a true reflection of the hard work, quality and impeccable customer service that is offered in the hospitality industry’.

A spokesperson for the Irish Hospitality Awards 2019 said, “The awards aimed to thank those who make a huge contribution to enhancing the country’s tourism and reputation, whose work often remains overshadowed.

“We would like to congratulate all winners and finalists for their amazing achievements.”
