Some things will always be associated with the 90s. The advent of Girl Power, the early swagger of the Gallagher Brothers and Riverdance to name but a few.
The decade also saw the Golden Era of The Simpsons and with empty-headed patriarch Homer regularly seen drooling over a box of doughnuts, it’s fair to say the sweet treats got plenty of exposure back then.
Therefore, it seems quite apt that one of Dublin’s premier doughnut joints is launching a new 90s-inspired menu complete with a tasting event this Sunday night.
The Blanchardstown restaurant promises to ‘reinvigorate childhood memories with Party Rings, Jazzies and Cookies & Kreme doughnuts’ and the best part is they’ll all be available to purchase for just 90 cent on Sunday. Sure you’re practically making money, says you.
There will also be 90s tunes pumped through the speakers throughout the evening as well as retro games to play, all making for a great way to wind down the weekend.
More information can be found on the Facebook event page.
