Starbucks on Harbour Road, Howth, is closing.
As it turns out, the owners hadn’t gotten planning permission to change the use of their property from a bike shop into a Starbucks.
It will close in four weeks time, The Irish Times revealed yesterday, and people’s reactions are quite contrasting – but pretty gas.
amazing news. There are at least dozen independent coffee places in Howth that serve superb coffee. Fuck starbucks.
