“There is only one kinda folk, folks”.
And those folks like coffee.

Thank you to everyone for coming down to our soft launch today. We had the best time! We will be open Tues - Sat from next week onwards. Pop in and try our beautiful chai and a tasty treat💜 . . #coffeehatch #visitdublin #dublincafe #specialitycoffeedublin #ranelagh #dublin #onekindafolkcoffee
In case you don’t get the reference, Ranelagh’s newest coffee hatch draws inspiration from a line in Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird – which according to owners Rachel and Tom, is the perfect embodiment of everything they’re about.
Set behind an ivy wall in the courtyard of Yoga Dublin, One Kinda Folk is, without doubt, the cutest thing I ever did see.
The converted space, which used to be a storage shed for yoga mats, serves up 3FE coffee as well as loose leaf chai, raw matcha, homemade lavender syrup and waterloo loose leaf tea.
Impressive transformation there.
Complete with casual covered seating, cosy blankets and potted plants, the place is even dog-friendly.
Yoga followed by a stop off here sounds like a pretty heavenly way to start the day.
