Ahhh, food prep. The conscience that lies on our shoulder telling us to put down the ice-creams and pick up the spinach leaves. A trying experience for us all.
BUT – it doesn’t have to be. We’ve put together a list of ingredients, recipes and tips on how you can do one, cheap, food shop per week and still eat pretty bloody well. Don’t believe us? Keep reading…
Now, first things first – here’s your shopping list for all the recipes that follow
- 1 x bag of potatoes
- 1 x head of broccoli
- 1 x bag of kale
- 1 x packet of feta
- 1 x packet of cheddar cheese (red or white)
- 1 x bag of quinoa
- 1 x packet of turkey breasts
- 1 x bunch of spring onions
- 1 x packet of prawns
- 1 x packet of chilis
- 1 basil plant
Yep, that’s it.
It shouldn’t come to too much cash (unless you’ve notions and shop in Marks & Spencer) so all you need to worry about is how you’re going to spend all of your saved money, and what you’re going to wear over that pert bum of yours.
