PICS: The Grafton Lounge Reopened Today As Lemon & Duke – And Here’s What It Looks Like Inside

And here we have it – another addition to one of the most vibrant areas in town right now.

What used to be the Grafton Lounge is open for business again after a pretty extensive fit-out – backed by the same team who run The Bridge in Ballsbridge, including Leinster rugby stars Jamie Heaslip, Rob and Dave Kearney and Sean O'Brien.

And, based on a quick visit this morning, we have to say it looks pretty feckin' class.

Here's what it's like inside...

In terms of the food offering, it's all very heavily focused on the food offering at The Bridge – and the dishes that have worked best for the team there.

A few dishes that caught our eye...

• Shrimp Po’boy on Hoagie Roll €10 (served with shredded Chinese leaf, vine tomato, jalapeno relish and miso-lime aioli)
• Grilled Honey Chicken €8/€10 (a salad of sweet potato and red lentil, candied walnuts, pumpkin seeds and lemon and ginger vinaigrette)
• Lemon & Duke Beef Burger €16 (Brioche bap, bacon jam, pimento cheddar, tobacco onions, sweet potato fries, sriracha aioli)
• Pan-fried Hake €20 (Tomato and mussel broth, samphire, capers, brown butter).

There's also unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell at the bar – same deal as in The Bridge, which is one of the standout elements of that bar.

Definitely one to try out this weekend...
