Coppers has become a home to many Irish people over the years and none more so than the Mayo exiles who ran away from their homeland and the comforts of their 'Lovely Mayo Mammy' to head to the big shmoke.
Although Mayo people have celebrated some great times in Coppers (far too many to mention), Mayo shirts are normally only seen in numbers in the nightclub after an All-Ireland loss and in the last two years losing to the Dubs has added insult to injury.
However, this Friday night the whole of Ireland has been given an invitation from the famous nightclub on Harcourt Street who believe it's time to celebrate the greatness of the Green and Red.
Maybe you love Mayo, maybe you love Coppers, maybe you love BOTH or maybe you just want to get in somewhere for free.
All of the above reasons are good enough to throw on a Mayo jersey and sing the famous Saw Doctors song with pride...
Want to party with the @MayoGAA team? Well here is your chance! This Friday 8th Dec, the Mayo team are having a night out with their supporters in our very own Copper Face Jacks! Free entry for anyone wearing a Mayo Jersey! H'up!
Coppers' Tweet reads: "Want to party with the @MayoGAA team? Well here is your chance!

It doesn't matter if it has Genfitt, CBE, Stauntons Intersport or Elverys on the front but anything from before the 1990s means you will gain massive respect among the crowd.
If you don't have a Mayo jersey, contact your closest Mayo friend and we're sure they will have plenty of spares at a good price of course!
