PICS: This Stunning New Bar Opened Tonight Off South Anne Street – And It's Going To Be Huge
It's called Zozimus, and it's gorgeous
This place is unreal.
We're not going to go into too much detail, because it only opened tonight and it's still finding its feet – but we headed down to check it out, and here's what we do know:
- It's called Zozimus (see, we don't miss a trick);
- It's named after a blind Dublin-born ballad-singer, from the early 19th century;
- It's off South Anne Street, on the ground floor of the Sporting Emporium and out the back of 37 Dawson Street and Sam's;
- It is BEAUTIFUL;
- There's no exposed red brickwork, no red filament lightbulbs and no bottles on walls – it's not exactly bursting with originality, but it's ornate and really gorgeous inside;
And it looks like this
And even the toilets are beautiful
Always a good sign
If you can't find it, look for the umbrellas
They're not exactly difficult to spot.
It's quiet right now...
But you know immediately when a place like this is going to make a big splash – and Zozimus is one of those places.
Get there this weekend (or tonight) before it gets swamped.
