Day 4 of the 2018 World Cup has arrived and there are some big games to keep us going throughout the day.
It all kicks off with Costa Rica v Serbia at 1pm, followed by 2014 champions Germany taking on Mexico at 4pm and then favourites Brazil make their tournament bow against Switzerland at 7pm.
If you spent all day watching the games on the sofa yesterday, you might want to get out and talk to some, ya know, real people.
Here are some of the best spots in Dublin to watch the games today.
1. Dicey’s
The go-to spot for Dublin’s South and Central American community. Expect large crowds for Germany v Mexico and Brazil v Switzerland.
2. The Bowery
The Rathmines venue is more than just music. There are plenty of match specials including two for one cocktails as well as free prosecco and sharing platters. More information here.
3. McGowans
The Phibsboro venue is giving out free drinks every time a goal is scored. With Brazil and Germany both playing today, that could be a lot.
4. The Woolshed
Always a great spot for watching sport, particularly during big international tournaments.
5. Buskers On The Ball
Plenty of big screens to choose from in this Temple Bar spot. Pass the time between games by shooting some ‘foot pool’
