One of the older pubs in Dublin has closed its doors for good in a sad end of an era.
WJ Kavanaghs on Dorset St, who always had a huge selection of some of the most obscure and quirky beers around, is unfortunately no more my friends.
There had been rumours that the pub was set to shut down, but a sign in the window spotted earlier today confirmed it.
It reads: “Dear customers, we are now closed for business. Thank you for your support over the last few years. Lots of love from WJ Kavanagh’s fam <3”
.@WJKAVANAGHS_BAR on Dorset Street closed down! A real shame – great pub, great beer, great staff. Will be missed! pic.twitter.com/8jdiwAkUEo
