If you're guilty of heading to the same spot for your weekend pints over and over again (and let's be honest, we're guilty of this), then it's time to change things up a bit.
And we know just the place.
Ryan's Bar on Camden Street is hands down the best spot in town for pure craic, and the place is always jammed with a solid mix of Dubs and folk up from the country for a night on the lash.
Here's what we love about it...
You'll usually always get a seat
We've NO idea how, but for some reason every time we've popped in here for an oul whiskey ginger we've somehow managed to grab enough stools to fit around the corner of a table at least.
Ryan's can get fairly jammers at the weekends, but it's big enough to not feel completely squished.
Watching the GAA here is greaaat craic
Word to the wise: Ryan's is a legendary Tipp pub, and they're mad for all things GAA, so don't come in here during a match and expect a quiet pint with music playing softly in the background.
There'll be excited shouts at the telly and a LOT of county jerseys to be seen.
And it's brilliant fun.
The live music is some of the best in town
On every Wednesday night from The Buggy Boys, legends of lads who play trad Irish music with a twist. From The Beach Boys to Ed Sheeran these fellas will make your night.
It's the perfect place for pre-drinks
Sure it's only a few minutes walk from Harcourt Street if you're feeling inclined for a sneaky dance in Coppers, and you've plenty of other bars all along Camden to hop along to after starting the night here.
Although considering that the price of pints is seriously reasonable, and the craic gets even mightier after midnight, you'd be mad to leave.
Ryan's is basically what a pub should be: good craic, not crazy expensive, and a friendly chilled place to hang out with mates.
Make this your new local (you'll never have to admit you don't give a toss about hurling, swear.)
