We are well and truly into the swing of the festive season, with only a couple days to go before the main event...
Rather than focusing on the 12 Pubs or big party nights out, we wanted to pick the 10 best places to get a drink in Dublin that will put a smile on your face over the Christmas.
These are the sort of places you'll pop in laden down with shopping bags for one or two in the company of a good friend (and no, they're not in any particular order - picking just 10 was tough enough!)

One of the very best pubs in Dublin and the atmosphere only increases during the festive season. If you are super lucky, you'll get one of the window seats to watch the world go by.
Quite possibly the MOST Christmassy pub in Dublin, they spend weeks putting up their decorations here and it always looks amazing. Roaring fires and decent pints make this a top notch spot.
The pints and the toasties are absolutely world class but if you ask us, it is all about the people watching here. Watch the shoppers mixing with the drunken people out on the sesh.
While the rest of Temple Bar is more focused on volume of punters and huge nights out, the Palace is everything we love about the festive season in Dublin.
The huge tree, the big happy faces, the classy service and the amazing buzz all contribute in terms of making this one of the very best places in Dublin for a Christmas drink.
The one place in the city that goes absolutely 100% over the top in terms of making the place feel super festive and we absolutely love it.
