There’s something about getting a decent feed in the airport that makes hopping on a plane all the more exciting. Sometimes though, your last bite to eat before taking off can be a bit on the unhealthy side, be it a slap-up fry or a burger and chips.
That will all change tomorrow though when The Happy Pear opens its doors in Dublin Airport. The café, famed for its healthy cakes, hand-roasted coffee, and signature sandwiches is adding a branch in terminal one which will feature award-winning pesto and hummus products as well as vegetarian offerings, salads, soups and hot food bowls.
We’re just as excited as this pair 😊Roll on Monday. pic.twitter.com/qbHqd2cbgL

A post on The Happy Pear’s Instagram says that the branch will be ‘one of the world’s first plantbased cafés in an airport that’s fully compostable’.
Great news for anyone flying out in the coming weeks.
