The Most Popular Food Orders In Every Part Of Dublin Have Been Revealed

James Fenton

There are lot of differences between northsiders and southsiders but if there’s one thing that can unite us all, it’s our love for a good takeaway.

However, there are some things we’ll never agree on. For example, those north of the Liffey prefer to support local restaurants while those on the south are more inclined to opt for vegetarian or plant-based dishes than their neighbours across the river.

These are all part of the findings contained in new data released by Deliveroo. The most interesting information of all is the top food order in each of the different parts of Dublin.

People in Clontarf, for instance, appear to love nothing more than the Eggs Benedict from Farmer Browns while in Rathmines the Palestinian Falafel from Umi comes out on top. Residents of Smithfield love a good Bacon and Cheeseburger from Supermac’s and it’s the Subway Melt that gets the tastebuds tickling in Dundrum.

Below you can find the list of all the top orders across Dublin…

Northside:

Artane Fajita from Boojum
Cabra Diavola from Sano Pizza
Ballymun Chargrilled Chicken Skewers from Camile Thai
Beaumont Pork Gyros from Yeeros
Arran Quay Cheese Burger from Five Guys

A spokesperson said “Deliveroo is all about giving people the freedom to eat what they want when they want and Dublin’s eating habits reflect our unique preferences.”

We certainly are a varied bunch here in Dublin’s fair city. If nothing else, we’ve been provided with plenty of takeaway inspiration for later tonight.
