The word 'notions' is thrown around a lot these days but the latest crisps to be launched take things to a whole new level.

Swedish microbrewery St Erik's has created a bespoke crisp to accompany their beer, after feeling that their beverage was being let down by plain old snacks.

"We’re passionate about the craftsmanship that goes into our beer. At the same time, we felt that we were missing a snack of the same status to serve with it," said a spokesperson.

Crips

You'd better not be too peckish if you want to try them out though, as each limited-edition box costs €51 for five crisps.

Yes, you read that correctly. FIVE CRISPS. For €51.

Madness.

On the upside, all funds raised by the sale of the crisps will go to charity and the 100 boxes are now sold out.
