This Poutine Food Truck Will Soon Be Serving The Streets Of Dublin

seank

Fantastic news for fans of bold dishes: a poutine food truck is soon to start serving the streets of Dublin.

The good people at Lala Poutine, Ireland’s first dedicated ‘gourmet frites’ place, have just revealed that they’ll be bringing the Canadian treat to the people in the next few weeks with their ‘Lala-Mobile’.

If the craze passed you by (we did a primer on it awhile back), poutine is essentially a fancy plate of chips with cheese curds and a light gravy, but it can also come with an array of other decadent toppings.

This food truck will de dispensing such deliciousness as chicken and chorizo poutine, pulled pork and BBQ gravy, Bolognaise, Italian sausage, breakfast poutine (like the one at Taco Taco), and more.

If that’s set you salivating, keep your eyes peeled for this bad boy.

When asked about the possibility of a setting up a permanent shop in the capital, Fred from Lala Poutine told Lovin Dublin,

We’re looking to move into a pub and use their kitchen to provide food for their customer. We’re also looking to open a fixed location soon.

The finishing touches are just being made to the van at the moment and it’ll hit the streets by the end of March. Like their stall, the food truck will be available for hire.

At present you can find Lala Poutine in Spencer Dock Market on Wednesdays, Merrion Square on Thursdays, and Percy Place on Friday. For more updates on where to find them, visit their Facebook page here.

Alert your partner in gluttony immediately.
