Anthony Remedy is a well known restaurant promoter and consultant, so if there's one person to ask about the best places to check out in the city, it's him. We caught up with him last week to find out where we should be checking out in Dublin right now.

To be honest, and this is the God's honest truth, before I worked in San Lorenzo's I went there a lot as a punter. I genuinely really liked it, I had a lot of lunches there and even had my birthday there.
From next week it's got to be the Jerk Chicken Tacos... Oh ya!

For a nice occasion Chapter One is a really amazing restaurant. It's really nice and not stuffy despite the fact it's such a fine dining experience. They're really welcoming and friendly and the pig's tail dish they too in unbelievable. The Old Spot is really nice too. I like to go to Saba for lunch and Asador on Haddington Road does really decent grub. Coppinger Road for dinner is great.

Clement & Pekoe is my favourite. The coffee in there is great but aside from that they're really friendly people, being sound goes a long way.

Well I don't drink but I like House, it has something for everyone. The Stag's Head is a great pub too. The guys in The Academy have done an amazing job, it's world class. They have brilliant sound systems on each level that are lacking in a lot of Dublin bars, so I'd probably go there.

Oh God, going to the movies?! I'd go to 5 movies in a row! I love going for lunch, I'm really into lunch- way more than dinner. It's better value, you can have a proper chat with somebody. Etto and Staple Foods are two other favourite lunch spots of mine so I'd probably go to one of those places for something to eat.
