CHQ Will Be Transformed Into The Ultimate Festive Ski Party Experience

Sarah

The city centre will be transformed into an unforgettable Christmas experience this winter, as Aprés Dublin comes to George’s Dock, CHQ for the very first time from 30th November to 23rd December.

Y’know how everyone always says how the absolute best part of a skiing holiday is chilling out in the cosy lodge afterwards for some aprés ski banter?

Now you can experience that right here in Dublin, no last-min trip to the Alps required.

Aprés Dublin will see the entire CHQ venue turned into a giant custom-built ski lodge, with Aprés social activities, delicious street food options and an in-house DJ set to provide highly memorable nights out for friends and the backdrop for an office Christmas party like no other.

The LODGE will be the ultimate place for some Christmas catch-ups in the evening, while during the day the VILLAGE area will be full to the brim of family fun, including a Santa’s Grotto, carousel rides and yum snacks.

Check out how amazingly fun this looks…

Think street food, ski gear props for the perfect aprés ski Instagrams, and other festive treats…

This funky map designed by the talented Aoife Dooley shows all the different areas to explore in Dublin’s new ski village.

Mulled wine, beautiful handmade gifts and festive treats will be on offer within the free-to-attend village, supported by magical Christmas shows suitable for all the family, winter choir sing-a-long sessions and a rich variety of pop-up market stalls.

Pretty slick, hmm?

Organisers say that “Aprés Lodge will be the first bespoke Christmas party venue in Dublin, and we’ll be going all out to provide the most authentic experience possible with great attention to detail, delicious street food, in-house DJs, special guest appearances, and even an Austrian House Band.

“One of the very best things about skiing is celebrating the rush of the slopes with great times socialising with friends at the end of a busy day. We can’t guarantee the snow, but we can certainly bring that Aprés feeling and experience to Ireland.”

Wanna pop along?

Corporate and public tickets have just gone on sale here, and organisers are encouraging businesses to place their bookings quickly before spaces fill up – we can only imagine this spot is gonna be one of the more popular places for Christmas parties.

Corporate tickets start at €40 per person (including 1 food & 3 drinks vouchers per person), with public tickets beginning at €15 per person when bought in advance online (including a food and drink voucher).

Cheaper than a trip to Val Thorens, that’s for sure!
