Great news, for those of you who want to take a quick hop across the pond.
If you’re looking for some holiday inspo, you’ll be pleased to know that Dublin Airport has announced a new direct service to the very pretty city of Montreal and the arrival of flight AC818 at Dublin Airport on Bank Holiday Sunday marks the successful launch of the non-stop service.
Air Canada have launched a four times weekly direct service to Montreal in Canada for Summer 2018, and they also announced that it will increase capacity on its Vancouver service by 65% this year with the addition of two extra flights offering a five times weekly service for summer 2018.
Niiiiice.
Montreal is a fabulous mix of European charm and North American attitude, and is well-known as a beautifully designed city.
Welcoming the Air Canada announcement, Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison said that “with 13% of the Canadian population claiming Irish ancestry I have no doubt that Montreal will be a popular destination for both Irish and Canadian holidaymakers.”
