People are huge fans of Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, and we can see why.
Not only is the man an absolute musical ledge, (did you see him and Glen Hansard playing the Auld Triangle in Dublin last week??) he also reportedly paid money out of his own pocket at the 3Arena gig so he could keep playing past curfew.
Hotpress reports that a post on Pearl Jam official stated Eddie coughed up the cash on the night to make sure he could play late at the venue, with the post saying “a lad who works at the 3Arena said Eddie walked off stage and signed a cheque for €25,000 so he could keep playing.”
He played a huuuge amount of songs at the sold-out gig, treating fans to a total of 32 tunes.
Sound.
