We’ve searched high and low to find some decent Dublin rentals that’ll set you back €500 or less per month.
It wasn’t easy, trust us, but we’d happily live in one of the following:
1. Mount Bellew Crescent, Lucan – €500
Double room in a clean, modern, owner-occupied house in a quiet residential area in Lucan. You’d be living with two easy-going and friendly professionals.
They’re looking for males or females – no couples.
House is five minute walk to shops, pubs and bus stops and close to M50 and N4.

2. Monksfield Court, Clondalkin – €450
Single bedroom in a non-owner occupied house living with four others (two gals ‘n’ two guys).
They’re looking for males or females – no couples. The room is available immediately for 12 months or more.
Bus stop located right outside the house, 10-minute walk to the Red Cow Luas stop. Shops nearby also.
The room is €450 a month, not including bills, and one month’s rent is required as a deposit.
3. Kingston Walk, Dundrum/Ballinteer – €510
A tenner more than the €500 budget we’d set originally, but this one was too dece not to include.
This single room in Kingston Walk is available from next Monday, September 11 for nine months or more while the current tenant heads abroad until June 2018 so perfect for the college year.
The advertisement says that they’re looking for an easy-going and friendly person in their mid 20s to early 30s.
The area is described as safe and and the rent does not include electricity, gas, water, internet or bins

4. St Brigid’s Church Road, Stillorgan – €480
Gals only for this gaff folks.
It’s located in a quiet, residential area in Stillorgan, just 15 mins from the Sandyford Luas stop which is super handy.
Rent is €480 per month for a lovely double room, excluding bills and references are required.
You’d be sharing with three professional working females in their late 20s / early 30s who work Monday to Friday.
5. Hollybank Road, Drumcondra – €500
Last but not least.
This one is in the perfect location, right off Drumcondra Road Lower meaning shops, pubs, restaurants and all are only a short stroll away.
Not to mention The Lovely Food Co. and Anderson’s Creperie right on your doorstep.
There are currently four people (three gals and one guy) living in the house and you’d be getting a downstairs, recently redecorated double room with doors that open out into the garden.
You’d be signing on for a minimum of one year.
The house has a shared living room, shared kitchen, laundry room, utility area and two bathrooms.
