We’ve got a pretty unique (and expensive) one here for you today.
Harlech House in Goatstown was built in 1798 and redesigned in 1993, and anyone whose ever passed by its unusual, intricate and shiny silver gates will probably recognise it.
While the exterior of most houses is usually a solitary colour all-round, what you see standing in front of Harlech is totally different to what you see at the back.
Check out that tiling…
The house is massive and has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, six reception rooms, a cold room, a wine cellar, home office, games room, dressing room, and a music room, to name just a few.
It has both period and contemporary features throughout with serious attention detail in its most intricate features such as curved walls and doors, detailed mosaics, high ceilings, unusual paintings, sash windows, bespoke cabinetry, marble counter tops, and lotssssss of unique metalwork.
The master suite is unrivalled being set over three floors to include a sitting room and dressing room on the ground floor, guest bedroom on the first floor and master bedroom and bathroom on the second floor.
The craziest part of this elaborate home?
A secret underground passage leading from the front gate to the main house – insane. Just in case World War 3 breaks out and you need to escape.
Also – is this not the trippiest bathroom you’ve ever seen?
And as for the view?
