This is really something.
Sent into us by Lovin Dublin reader, Colin Reid, this house share advertisement on Daft is advertising your own double room and semi-private bathroom in Foxrock, with parking, for just €100 a week.
So, what the catch?
Well, a few actually.
Firstly, you have to be a nurse or healthcare professional, or studying to be either of the two.
Secondly you have to be willing to care for the landlord’s father.
And thirdly, you have to be willing to partake on ‘some light house work’.
Check out the ad for yourself…
”Yes !!!!
€100 A WEEK TO LIVE IN FOXROCK!!!!!
BUT….(of course there’s a but!!)
*You must be training/studying to become a nurse or healthcare professional*
I am looking for a student nurse/carer who is willing to help out with the care of my father and do some light house work, (6 hours a week of care & housework) in return for reduced rent in your own double room, with a semi private bathroom, which will include bills, breakfast and dinner.
Give me a shout to discuss.”
…interesting.
What do you think? A reasonable ask, or a bit much?
