The latest news on Dublin’s property maelstrom is of the commercial variety, with St Andrews on Suffolk St going on to the market.

The three-storey former church dates back to 1860, and was in use as a church until 1993.

If you’re a Dubliner, you’ll definitely have walked past the side of the church, right opposite H&M’s flagship behemoth, but you may not have noticed that it’s actually a former church.

The deets? It’s got almost 20,000 sq ft of space, spread over three levels, and includes the former parish hall, at the rear of the church.

It’s bound to stir up some interest from retailers and businesses – but our dream? We’d love to see it turned into a deadly bar-restaurant. (No chains need apply.)
