AmyBell

IMC Cinemas are doing a sound thing for charity and will be holding a free showing of the highly anticipated new movie Wonder to celebrate World Kindness Day this Monday, November 13.

The film isn’t due for release in Ireland until December 1, but the cinema chain will be hosting the special screening of the movie at 6.15pm on Monday in select cinemas to help raise money for Irish Cancer Support Sanctuary, LARCC.

In Dublin, IMC cinemas in Santry, Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire and the Savoy Cinema will be hosting the unique event.

Wonder stars Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts and tells the story of August Pullman who is a 10-year-old boy with a rare medical facial deformity.

You can watch the trailer below:

LARCC is a cancer support charity that is based in in Westmeath and they provide a place for cancer therapy and support.

There will be buckets to make donations to the charity after the film is over.

It sounds like a great idea for a very worthy cause.

It will also be shown in some IMC cinemas across Ireland including: Athlone, Ballina, Carlow, Dundalk, Galway, and Tullamore.

Booking details will be available on the cinema site later today.

Will you be going along?
