Getting Hitched? You Need To Check Out This Deadly Dublin Wedding DIY Workshop

Listen up ridey bridies (and groomies), have you been looking at swoonsome wedding blogs and thinking: ‘God that’s exactly what I want for my big day’ – and then swiftly following that thought with ‘but I haven’t a creative bone in my body’?

Or conversely, are you super creative and so-and-so who can’t wait to get knee deep in the likes of lace ribbons, floral twine and a glue gun?

Either way, to help you get your wedding DIY on we’ve come across a event to get all the inside info on how to style your day like the pros.

Me, Oh My DIY! and WeddingDates.ie will be hosting an all-day DIY workshop in Dublin Zoo on Sunday April 3 where you’ll get professional instruction in every aspect of the day from floristry, bespoke invites and beauty tips – and always with an emphasis on cutting down on your spends.

Throughout the day the guys from Me, Oh My DIY! Will put on crafty demos with step-by-step instructions on how to recreate the look for your own big day. And we’re not talking swan napkin centerpieces here, this stuff is modern and Pinterest-worthy if you will.

Well-known vendors will also be making an appearance (trust us, you’ll know ALL the vendors in the world soon).

The Cake Cuppery will be on hand to advise on choosing your wedding cake, and Austen Flowers will be doing a demo on how to DIY your own bridal clutch bag made from flowers.

Lunch, sweet treats and refreshments will be provided – as well as a celebratory cocktail to toast your craftiness at the end of the day! Each attendee will leave with their completed DIY projects, a goodie bag filled with supplies and gifts, and heaps of tips, tricks, contacts and new ideas.

The wedding workshop takes place on Sunday 3rd April from 11-5pm in Dublin Zoo and costs €125 per person.
