The Echo is reporting that Lidl Ireland has plans to build a new pub.
The pub is part of plans for the former Belgard Inn Site where Lidl want to “enhance the functionality” of a pub on location.
The plan for the site will also see a new store as well as two retail units being built.
Planning permission for the pub is currently being sought from South Dublin County Council.
A spokesperson for Lidl said that they were unable to reveal the plans for the pub until last week, according to the publication.
The new store at the site will be “modern, environmentally-friendly build which will offer our customers a superior shopping experience.”
