A 13-year-old boy accused of murdering Anastasia Kriegel has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court. The boy was served with a book of evidence at Dublin Children’s Court today.

Kriegel was found beaten to death and naked in an abandoned farmhouse at Glenwood House in Lucan in May.

She was last seen in St Catherine’s Park near Lucan at 5.30pm on May 14 and her body was found three days later.

A 14-year-old boy, who was the first to be charged with Ana’s murder, is also expected to be served with a book of evidence later this week.

The two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are thought to be the youngest in Ireland to ever go on trial for murder.
