14-Year-Old Boy Charged With Ana Kriegel’s Murder Sent Forward For Trial

Jen

The 14-year-old boy charged with Ana Kriegal’s murder has been sent forward to trial.

Ana was beaten to death and naked in a derelict farmhouse near Lucan in May.

She disappeared from St Catherine’s Park near Lucan at 5.30pm on the 14th of May. Her body was found three days later.

The boy, who was the first person to be charged with murder, held both of his parents hands as he was served the book of evidence today.

A 13-year-old was sent forward for trial earlier this week.

The two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are thought to be the youngest in Ireland to ever go on trial for murder.
