A man has been rushed to hospital following a collision with a bus in Dublin city centre earlier this morning. The incident is reported to have happened at around 10am at Gardiner Place, Dublin 1.

The man has since been taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment, where the extent of his injuries is not yet known.

The exact location of the incident, the junction of Temple Street and Gardiner place, was closed for examination this morning, but has since been reopened.

A Garda spokesman told Dublin Live: “Gardai attended at an incident at the Temple Street at the Gardiner Street junction which involved a pedestrian and a bus.”
