A Woman Has Been Killed In A House Fire In Dublin This Morning

A woman in her 80s has been killed in a house fire in Dublin this morning.

The tragic incident took place at a property in Ventry Park in Cabra, with Dublin Fire Brigade called to the scene shortly after 3.40am.

According to RTÉ News, three units of the fire service attended the blaze and the elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The scene has been preserved for a technical investigation but the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.
