Arnotts Has Issued A Response To Comments On Yesterday’s Sale

Arnotts held its annual, highly-anticipated warehouse sale yesterday, with potential buyers from all over the country setting their sights on up to 70% off of Arnotts homeware, furniture, bedding and much more.

Yesterday we reported customers’ frustration at the Arnotts Warehouse Sale due to queues, however, we are happy to report today that things ran much more smoothly and Arnotts have their customers safely first and foremost.

Arnotts went above and beyond to ensure that the highest standards of quality and safety were met – but thrice the number of people turned up than were expected, and with safety measures first – delays met customers at the car park.

Many took to Twitter to vent their disappointment.

Arnotts has since reached out to respond.

A spokesperson commented upon this today:

”Arnotts would like to apologise to anyone who encountered delays at the warehouse sale on Saturday. The overwhelming number of people who turned up meant that the extended opening hours and all plans we had made with the Garda, Fire Officers and Local Authorities did not work as they should have.

Over 3 times the number of people expected turned up yesterday. Our customer safety is paramount, we worked hard yesterday with the huge unexpected volume of people to ensure that everyone who visited left us safely, it was imperative that was our priority.
Arnotts have worked with all relevant parties to ensure a better system is in place for today and are delighted that everything is working well.

We appreciate the patience of everyone who was impacted and thank those who have sent compliments, they are greatly appreciated by our team who worked hard to ensure customers were cared for.”
