BREAKING: Roads Closed On Southside As An Armed Stand-Off Is Reportedly Taking Place

A man has barricaded himself in a house and is believed to be armed


There is a stand-off now taking place near Cashel Road in Crumlin between Gardaí and a man in house, causing roads to be closed.

According to a report from The Sunday World, it's believed that the man is armed and that he is resisting Gardaí, after they attempted to serve him with a warrant.

A number of uniformed and plain clothes Gardaí are currently at the scene.

The stand-off began around 3pm this afternoon.

UPDATE: The stand-off has now been resolved and the armed man has been taken into custody. All roads closures have now been lifted.
