BREAKING: Leo Varadkar Has Begun Appointing Ministerial Roles

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has just now begun calling TDs to his office to ask them to be ministers.

According to, it was Agriculture Minister Michael Creed who was first to get the call from the newly appointed Taoiseach. 

Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Shane Ross is also believed to have met with Varadkar. It is understood that he will remain in his post.

Communications Minister Denis Naughten is set to be reappointed as Minister for Communications, Climate Change and Environment.

Katherine Zappone, Minister for Children, has not yet met with Mr Varadkar - however, it is believed that she will also be remaining in her post.
