The south city centre is experiencing severe traffic congestion at the moment, following an incident on Charlemont Bridge.

According to reports, the incident involved a cyclist and a truck, and occurred shortly after 1pm today.

Advanced paramedics and firefighters are on the scene, and traffic is at a complete standstill between Leeson Street and Portobello, while Ranelagh Road and Harcourt Road have also been closed.

Here's hoping that nobody's been hurt as a result of this.
