Can You Spot Anyone You Recognise In This Nostalgic Dublin Santa Visit Video?

Sarah

A nostalgic video shared by RTE Archives today of a Santa visit in 1982 at the beloved department store Switzers, on Grafton Street, has us all full of fuzzy festive feels.

The video shows adorably polite children line up to tell Santa Claus what they want for Christmas…One shy little girl who already owns a cot and a pram is hoping to get a Tiny Tears doll for Christmas, as she wants to put her in a pram and little to say to Santa, whereas a group of boys are eager to talk and one even gives Santa directions to his house. Ahh, simpler times.

We reckon that the kids in the video would be in their 40s now… Can you recognise any family members (or even yourself!)

Can you recognise this little dote?

But the main question… Does anyone know Santa Claus?!
