Couldn’t Access Twitter Or Netflix Last Night? This Is Why

Did you have trouble getting onto Twitter, Netflix or using PayPal last night?

Well, you’re not the only one. 

I noticed Twitter was down at about 8.30PM, and according to Independent.ie, it was all due to a cyber attack on little-known internet company Dyn, which disrupted access to Twitter, Netflix, Visa and PayPal. 

A hacker group spread across Russia and China have claimed responsibility for the hack, which was initially contained within America and then spread its way across Europe. 

Scary shtuff.
