People around the Cineworld area of Parnell Street have been tweeting and sharing dramatic footage of a car seeming to explode and going on fire in the last hour.
Dublin Fire Brigade is on the scene and have it under control, explaining that it was magnesium mixing with water that caused what sounded like small explosions while a blaze and copious amounts of smoke only made it appear to be an explosion.
