Since this morning, Gardaí have been searching for an armed man who is believed to have been involved in a number of incidents in Tallaght this morning.
After a city-wide search, a man was arrested at Citywest this afternoon after being chased by a number of Gardaí on foot.
Witnesses have taken to social media to share footage of the dramatic arrest which takes place as stunned onlookers watch on.
