Dublin Fire Brigade Reveal The Most Common Day And Time For A House Fire To Occur

Dublin Fire Brigade is the largest fire service in the country, serving 1.2 million people across the county with over 900 workers, so they know a thing or two about fire safety and statistics, that's for sure.

House fires are one the most common fire occurrences, and every week DFB issue a reminder on their Twitter for people to check their fire alarms and make sure they are in working order.

This week's reminder however, also included a scary stat revealing the most common time for a house fire to break out.

DFB say the home blaze is most likely to happen on Tuesdays at 11pm.

Stay safe with electrical fuses and naked flames, and alwaaaays check those fire alarms!
