Dublin Fire Brigade is the largest fire service in the country, serving 1.2 million people across the county with over 900 workers, so they know a thing or two about fire safety and statistics, that’s for sure.
House fires are one the most common fire occurrences, and every week DFB issue a reminder on their Twitter for people to check their fire alarms and make sure they are in working order.
This week’s reminder however, also included a scary stat revealing the most common time for a house fire to break out.
DFB say the home blaze is most likely to happen on Tuesdays at 11pm.
