Dublin Port Tunnel Is Now Closed Due To A Major Traffic Accident

There will be major traffic delays this morning due to a major accident which took place in the Dublin Port Tunnel.

A truck overturned in the north bore of the tunnel this morning and it has now been closed to north and southbound traffic.

Port Tunnel Update Both north & south bore tunnels are closed due to collision Emergency services using south bore to access north bore

It’s expected that the tunnel will be closed for two hours. There is no further information at this time.
