Last night was absolutely mental for Dublin's emergency services.

With nearly 400 calls made to emergency services throughout the 24-hours on Saturday – between 250 and 300 of those calls were made last night alone.

Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade brought a fire at a school in Tallaght under control last night.

No serious injuries were reported, thankfully.

According to the Journal.ie, a spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said that last night "was one of the busiest nights of the year – an absolute logistical nightmare".

Thank God we have these invaluable services available to us and that they are able to work under extreme pressures, like those of last night.
