Luas have placed ads in national newspapers this morning, informing customers that there will be no tram service tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday of this week.
Staff represented by SIPTU will take to the picket line in a dispute over pay for the second time. It is estimated that this strike action, affects 180,000 people each day.
Tram services will stop just after midnight tonight and not return until early on Saturday morning.
If an agreement is not reached, more strikes are planned during the month of March including St. Patricks Day.
