Flights going to and from Dublin Airport today are at the risk of being cancelled or delayed, due to a freezing fog that has taken over much of Europe.

A number of flights to and from Heathrow and London City airport were cancelled, with flights to and from Stansted also being delayed.

Dublin Airport has advised customers to check with their airline before travelling.

Met Éireann had this to say about this week and last week's weather.

The UK meteorological office issued a yellow fog warning on Sunday night which is due to stay in place until 10.30am this morning.
