katedemolder

Internationally acclaimed artist Suzanne Lacy is working with 20 teenage women to explore their connections with earlier eras as part of a ten-day project.

Working with historians, museum staff, students, Irish and US artists, and in association with CREATE, 20 young women between the ages of 14-17 years old will participate in an artistic “consciousness-raising” process about the world as it is for them as young women, and as it could be.

Held this Sunday at 2pm-4pm, on the beautiful grounds of IMMA, this revolutionary performance based around the voice of female youth is not one you’ll want to miss.

This live event will be the public culmination of the school with stellar live performances from participants.
