Gardai Are Appealing For Witnesses After A Man Drowned In The Grand Canal

The incident happened 10 days ago.

The man died when he got into the water by Portobello in Dublin 8 around 4.25am on Saturday June 18.

Gardai released a statement saying that the man was about 5'8" tall, with black hair and was wearing a black and blue shirt.

While the death is not being treated as suspicious, Gardai are asking anyone who was in the area around that time on June 18 to contact them in Terenure or by calling the Garda confidential phone line on 1800 666 111.
